Background:
A little information about me: I am a unit still photographer and a member of the Cinematographer's Guild (I.A.T.S.E. 600) currently based in Los Angeles, California. Before becoming a unit photographer, I started off in the film and tv industry working in production and post production on "Devil's Advocate", "Titanic" (working nine months in post production on "Titanic" with three of those months at SkyWalker Sound in northern California finishing the final sound and editing on the film), and "There's Something About Mary" beginning as a production assistant/ assistant to producers and eventually working my way up to become a production supervisor for scripted programing and a unit production manager on documentaries. I was born in Newport Beach, California, but grew up primarily in Miami, Florida (on a little island called Key Biscayne), attended high school outside of London, England, and eventually moved to Dallas, Texas, to attend and graduate from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. In 2018, I shot Season 4 of “Better Call Saul” for AMC where I was on location for five months in New Mexico and I was then published for the show 15 times in The New York Times for the show for season four, as well as, four times in “Vanity Fair” for Saul, worldwide exclusives in USA Today and Entertainment Weekly, and multiple times in “Rolling Stone” and “Forbes” all for Season 4 of “Better Call Saul”. In 2018 I also shot season 2 of “Counterpart” for STARZ in Los Angeles and season 1 in Berlin, Germany, and Los Angeles, “Dirty John” for Bravo, and “LA’s Finest” for Sony TV. I have photographed Rupert Murdoch for 20th Century Fox as an exclusive for The Wall Street Journal, former Vice President Al Gore as an exclusive for "Current TV" when he launched the network, Lady GaGa as an exclusive for Entertainment Weekly for "The Simpsons", and traveled to London, England to photograph Daniel Radcliffe as an exclusive for Entertainment Weekly for "The Simpsons" as well. During 2015-2016 I had the great honor of photographing the series "The Muppets" for 14 of the 16 episodes that were shot at the Walt Disney Studios for ABC and working with the Henson Muppeteers for six months. I have also photographed close to 100 of the world's best chefs for key art and episodes of "Top Chef Masters", "Top Chef Duels" and "Recipe for Deception" for Bravo including Wolfgang Puck, Curtis Stone, James Oseland, Hugh Acheson, Takashi Yagahashi, David Burke, Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger (to name a few). In addition to shooting on set, I have shot events for Best Events for the past 11 years as well as Jeffrey Best's personal family photos and personal family events for 13 years. I can live and work as a local in Los Angeles, Miami, Austin, Dallas, Houston, and London, England. Also, I have been asked to be a guest speaker for an all women's female camera crew panel to launch Canon's new Burbank facility in Fall of 2017 and have had my own Canon seminar at their facility in Costa Mesa speaking about being an on set still photographer and navigating the course on how to become a unit still photographer in November of 2017.
I have been published worldwide in the following publications: The New York Times*, The Los Angeles Times*, The Wall Street Journal*, The Washington Post*, The Miami Herald, The Houston Chronicle*, The Dallas Morning News*, The San Francisco Chronicle*, Vanity Fair*, Time Magazine, The New Yorker Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine*, Vogue, Entertainment Weekly*, People Magazine, US Weekly, Elle Magazine*, Cosmopolitan Magazine, The Atlantic, The Hollywood Reporter*, Variety*, Forbes*, The Huffington Post*, The Toronto Star, , The Boston Globe*, Vox.com, Thrillist.com, Salon.com*, AOL.com*, Yahoo.com*, AMC.com*, STARZ.com*, ABC.com*, Disney.com*, Bravo.com*, SpoilerTV.com*, TV Line*, TV Insider*, IndieWire, Mashable, Rotten Tomatoes, CNN.com, Bustle, Den of Geek, Observer, Hidden Remote, IGN, and Deadline.com.
